On the Laksefjord Plateau you can hike or walk in one of Europe's last wildernesses - a unique way to experience nature.

Here you can find suggestions on different tours. All tours can be tailored to your wishes and needs.

Viddas Sønn started his operations in the year 1930. Over a period of ten years the Norwegian Geographic Measure Institute gave contract to measure the extent parcels of the Laksefjord Plateau in Finnmark. The work consisted of guiding, transportation with pack animal, moving the camp and retrieving mail and provisions.

From 1941 he transported the post from Bildam to Levajok until the early 1960's. In the summertime the main traffic on the Tana River was with riverboats. In the wintertime transportation over the plateau happened with skis, all the way down to the village of Levajok. Viddas Sønn has more than eighty years of experience with harvesting and experience tourism.
